About

Don Wee brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in banking, public service, and sustainability advisory. He currently serves in a bank’s innovation group, following three years in its corporate sustainability office, where he integrated ESG principles into business and financial strategies. In his present role, he drives the adoption of advanced technologies and sustainability frameworks to strengthen organisational resilience and long-term value creation. A Fellow Chartered Accountant of Singapore and CPA Australia, Don has advised corporates, public institutions, and charitable organisations on sustainability reporting, governance, and regulatory compliance. As a former Member of Parliament, he actively contributed to policy discussions on finance, governance, and sustainability, equipping him with a unique perspective on the policy intents behind regulatory changes in Singapore and other developed economies.


Don is also the Founding Advisor of MIT ESG Consultancy LLP, a boutique advisory firm focused on ESG reporting and assurance in Southeast Asia, and advises another firm specialising in carbon accounting, reporting support, and analytics. With his combined expertise in financial services, regulatory insights, and public policy, Don is well-placed to help participants understand the evolving sustainability landscape and translate policy intent into practical organisational outcomes.
